Select The Year Of Your Vehicle Below
The Honda Element is a compact crossover SUV that was sold by Honda from 2003 to 2011. The Element is a boxy SUV with signature bi-parting side doors. When it first came out in 2003, two trims were available, namely DX and EX. The mid-range LX trim came a year later. The 2005 Element came with leaps of upgrades. The standard transmission became a 5-speed manual. The DX was dropped, but the LX came with refreshed front seats and with a passenger seat armrest. Hub caps were changed to cover the entire wheel. XM satellite radio and MP3 capabilities were added for infotainment.
The 2007 Honda Element was a mild refresh, with standard side airbags and electronic stability control. The front fascia leveled up from plastic latticework grille to silver slats. A new trim level, the SC was offered. It came with a more stylish grille, lowered suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels, and projector headlamps. The interior was spruced up with tribal print seat fabric, carpeted floors, and a center console. For the Element’s final release, the SC trim was dropped. The Honda Element was discontinued in 2011.
Is the Honda Element the Most Pet Friendly Crossover SUV?
Did you know that in 2007, the Honda Element won the “Dog Car of the Year” award from Dogcars.com? Because of the Element’s modular design, its second row was fitted with dog-friendly features. It came with a pet-restraint system, extendable cargo area load-in ramp, a 12V ventilation fan, all-season floor mats with a toy-bone pattern, and exterior paw print emblems. For $1,000, you could have the award-winning package installed for you. For more carrying capabilities for your SUV, check our premium roof racks and cargo trays.
