The Acura Vigor is a midsize luxury sedan that was first produced by Honda’s Acura division in 1991. Production of the Acura Vigor coincided with the third generation of the Honda Vigor. It was badged as the Acura Vigor for the US market, where it was sold until the 1994 model year. The Acura Vigor was succeeded by the Acura TL which was launched for the 1996 model year.
The 1994 Acura Vigor was offered in two options, which were the GS and LS. All Acura Vigor models were powered by a 2.5-liter inline-five engine that produces 176 hp and 170 pound-feet of torque. For gas mileage, it was rated at 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway, for a combined rating of 20 mpg. It came standard as front-wheel drive (FWD) and with a five-speed manual transmission.
Acura Vigor Standard Inclusions
Inside the 1994 Acura Vigor LS, the car was adorned with full moquette upholstery. A leather trim was standard for the GS trim. The base LS trim still came with decent luxury features, such as a leather steering wheel, a Dolby 8-speaker Acura Music system, side window defoggers, and cruise control. Upgrading to the Vigor GS would get you a power moonroof with sliding shade and a 4-way adjustable power driver’s seat. Both trim packages also came standard with integral fog lights and an anti-lock braking system (ABS).
