No results found for "radiators". Here are some helpful search tips:

  • Search by a part name. Example: water pump.
  • Be less specific. Example: brake instead of ceramic brake.
  • Remove information such as make, year or model.
  • Can't find the part you are looking for? Contact us and we'll find it for you!

The way a radiator works is fairly simple, but its purpose can’t be overstated. It consists of small tubes equipped with fins made of either copper or aluminum. As your engine runs, heat is produced, which is dispelled by the radiator through its cooling process. Coolant liquid absorbs the heat, as the fluid flows between inlets and outlets through a radiator hose. A radiator cap compresses the fluid, allowing it to carry more heat. Once heat is captured, the fins expel it, and a fan disperses it to nearby air. This process cools and preserves your engine.

How Do I Know If My Radiator Needs Replacing?

Signs that your Honda radiator has become faulty and might need a replacement include the following:

  • Abnormal engine noise
  • Vehicle always overheating
  • Leaking coolant (detect a sweet, warm smell)
  • Clogged or deteriorating fins
  • Check engine light flashes on
  • If you suspect that your radiator has failed, check the temperature gauge and do a full inspection.
